IMPORTANT:

Orange cones will be used to keep you on-course.  Although there are very few spots where pedestrians cross vehicle parking entrances, be respectful and obey all traffic laws. There are a few places where you will be required to cross a street within an intersection.   We will have course monitors at each of these key places.

6k Runners: Do the Yellow Loop, finishing at the Orange Spur just to the left of the Starting Line.

10k Runners: Do the Yellow Loop, then the Green Loop and finishing at the Orange Spur just to the left of the Starting Line.

Yellow Loop

Go Westward along the pedestrian/bike path along Crissy Field for approx. 0.6 miles.

Take a sharp right turning Eastward onto the San Francisco Bay Trail/Golden Gate Prominade. 

After passing the visitor parking lot and Crissy Field Center on your right, you turn right just before Yacht Rd. to head south.

Just before hitting Mason Rd., turn right again coming back along the pedestrian/bike path towards the starting area.

You'll go approximately 0.3 miles before turning right again onto a cirt path cutting across the loop.

Turn left and go back Westward along the San Francisco Bay Trail/Golden Gate Prominade.

From here, you'll retrace the loop in the opposite direction heading back to the pedestrian/bike path along Crissy Field to the Start line area.

If you're done for the morning with 6k, finish just to the left  of the Start line area on the Orange Spur.  Take your finishing picture along the lagoon and collect your medal!

If you're going on to finish the 10k, keep going Eastward along the pedestrian/bike path on the Green Loop.

Green Loop

Make your way back around by going Eastward along the pedestrian/bike path.

Hang a left approx. 0.5 miles down the path just before Yacht Rd. and the Golden Gate Recreation Area ending.

Take a left at the San Francisco Bay Trail/Golden Gate Prominade and head Westward.

Once the dirt path meets the pedestrian/bike path along Crissy Field, you'll hang a left and head to the Start line area.

Finish just to the left of the start line area on the Orange Spur. Take your finishing picture along the lagoon and collect your medal!
